BIKER SUPPORT
ASDA EASTLANDS OCT 2024
End of Ride Season
With winter on the horizon and meetups getting more scarce, I knew I had to make it to this one. It had been on my list for months.
The light was fading fast, and I could hear the growl of engines as people rolled in.
BIKER SUPPORT MANCHESTER
Shot at an end-of-season meetup organised by Biker Support Manchester — a group built on respect, charity rides, and looking out for each other. No bullying, no drama, just support.

With motorbike theft on the rise, there was a real sense of caution when three young lads rolled up on pushbikes.
It often starts like that — riding through, clocking the bikes, taking photos to share over Snapchat.
They didn’t say much at first, but ended up sticking around, chatting with everyone. they were friendly and interested in the motorbikes.
Only one was comfortable with their photo being taken.
he’d suffered several heart attacks and was still recovering from his latest one. I asked if I could take his portrait, but he wasn’t feeling up to it—the exhaustion from everything he’d been through was clear.
Later, I found this shot, taken when I’d just arrived—he was laughing with his mates.
I was glad to have caught that moment.

THE NIGHT WAS ENDING
I planned to stay an hour but ended up hanging around much longer.
I get why people come to these meetups — it’s chill, and bikers are just easy to be around.
I could still hear laughter and the sound of engines as I walked home.
